The Trust Triangle

In an orchestra, the percussionist will play a triangle to create a steady, ringing presence at the top-end of the frequency range of the music. This small, metal instrument reverberates in a way that allows it to be heard over the loud brass instruments, the resonating stringed instruments and even the booming tympani drum. Like the triangle, a sense of  trust can reverberate throughout an organization, allowing it to always be present.

Discover the importance of trust within an organization and how it has foundations in caring. Without caring, there can be no happiness within the organization. Without trust, there can be no openness within the organization. Only through the leader sharing a caring attitude with the open transparency of trust can a team become all that it is capable of becoming. Trust is also the vehicle that creates an emotionally safe environment for the team. Often called Psychological Safety, it describes the feeling that people can express their true and honest selves, being accepted and embraced for their authentic uniqueness.
