Being Clearly Heard
A singer uses a microphone to amplify the voice so they can be clearly heard above the rest of the band, ensuring that the lyrics of the song are easily understood. If the singer doesn’t enunciate, or if the mic isn’t turned up enough, the message is lost. Like a microphone, we can use communication techniques to ensure that we are clearly heard, and speak in a way that invites the receiver to clearly understand the message that we are conveying.
